Check to see if you have enough Freon if you do then check to make sure a/c compressor clutch is coming on ,check relays, finally if all checks out then you probably need a new compressor

I would check Freon, then swap relays just to make sure relay is not bad

So I did some searching and someone had the same problem they replaced the relay that’s under the hood that says mg clt that’s the magnetic clutch on the compressor

I had a 2003 Suzuki XL_7 with a blinking A/C light every once in a while. No one could tell me what it meant (not even the dealer). It did not seem to affect the A/C, always blew cold air. Even after I had it checked and serviced, the light still came on occasionally. One of those mysteries of life I guess...

This sounds odd, but try this.
Pull the Mag Clutch Relay from under the hood. Drop it on the ground ( hard ground) from about 4’ up, then re-install it. If the blinking stops, then replace the relay since it will start sticking again very soon. Found that procedure on my Highlander forum and used that same process on my Camry, Sienna, and Tundra and it worked EVERY time. Good Luck!

I just had the same problem after getting a new exhaust manifold installed. The connecters to the ac compressor must have got jossled loose but they didn't disconnect, I went under there and squeezed them together a bit and it fixed my issue.

The grey connector plugs I was describing in my previous post.
