Activate acc mode without neutral & start stop?

Anyone know how to activate an accessory (acc) mode without: putting it into neutral, then, pushing the engine start stop , which brings up “ignition on” / “turn power off” messages on the screen??

Not sure if I understand the question correctly but why are you putting it in neutral? Keep your foot off the brake pedal and try it.

 

You should be able to do it in park. Just hit the engine start button without touching your brake. First press will partially wake it up, and second press should be ACC mode. This info is all in your owner's manual.

 

are we talking about putting it into acc mode while the engine is running prior to putting it into park and shutting off?

if so, then neutral and pushing SS will put it into acc mode with the engine off prior to putting it into park. just a side note, once you want to start the engine again, you have to push the SS button twice to shut off acc mode and put the truck into off mode, then start the engine as normal while pressing the brake.

if the engine is already off and in park, just push the SS button once to go into acc mode without pushing the brake.


this whole process is detailed in the owner manual.
