I have looked over the forum and cannot find two locations where an add a fuse would work well. I am attempting to connect DRL lights and an Auxbeam 8 gang switch. Any input would be appreciated.

The passenger side fuse box under the glove box has all sorts of circuits you can tap with add-a-fuses, both switched and constant 12V. Here is a photo of the cover:

Does it matter which one? Are all these off until you turn on vehicle?

Some are switched (on with vehicle, off when vehicle is off) while others are constant (always on). You need to pick depending on what you are trying to achieve. Some are fairly obvious, like wipers and USB are switched 12V. Whereas others may not be obvious until you test them. Amp1 is constant 12V. I used that for the constant supply to my dash cam. Probably also Amp2. But you need to get hold of a schematic or just test them yourself to be sure. That is easy to do... pop in a fuse tap and test it with a voltmeter, ignition off and then on.

Test the fuses with a multimeter with the key off and mark the ones that still have 12 volts. Everything else should be ignition controlled. You can do the same thing with an inexpensive test light.
