Friend bought a 23 Limited W/o Technology package. Is it possible to add 360 camera package? I assume the side mirrors would have to be replaced to do it. Thoughts?

Does he have the truck? I didn’t know you could get a limited without 360 cameras. I don’t have the technology package and I have 360.

Yup he has it. He's really embarrassed and disappointed. He told Hendrick Toyota to find him a Limited 4x4 with Technology package/360 cameras and Softex seating surfaces. He put down a sizeable deposit. After weeks and weeks of waiting, they got his truck in, the right color and everything. He signed the paperwork without even test driving it, after all it had like 8 or 10 miles on the odometer. He drives it home, backs it in the garage but only sees the backup camera view. He immediately starts to get a bad feeling.....so he looks at the paperwork & window sticker....they sold him a truck with no Technology package/no 360 camera. He was furious and immediately drove it back to Hendrick Toyota. They told him to go pound sand as there is no right to cancel or cooling off period in NC for auto sales. They did offer him $5000 below what he paid to trade for another Tundra with 360 cameras....he told them to fuc# off. He completely understands it's 100% HIS FAULT! He gets it. In a brief moment of excitement over the dealership getting the truck in stock, he didn't think to double check that it had all the option packages he wanted. He's heart-broken.

Oh man that sucks for your friend.

I learned the hard way years ago when I was 20 something to never trust stealers. To be fair I have encountered great ones. My recent purchase was great. Sales lady commented how I checked everything on truck and finance manager commented about me reading everything I signed. Too bad for them - my money, my time.

Standard on 2022-3 Tundra Platinum, 1794 and TRD Pro. It is available as part of a package in SR5 and Limited. Its an amazing feature.

    Lots of stuff!
We were able to get the Multiview cameras on the TRD offroad package. It didn't come on the Limited trim without adding this package. We are limited to packages up here. The Multiview option is not included in the SR5 TRD add-on up here.

I know how it feels to not get a feature! I was really expecting to get the digital rear view mirror but that didn't happen. Also the chrome handles on ours should have been black! more chrome to delete now.

It sounds like packfan's friend needs to head back down to the dealership and undo the deal before it is too late.

Never trust any salesmen of any type (real estate, auto, etc.). They will tell you anything (even lies) to get you to buy, and usually they know very little about the product they are selling. I can scan the brochure for a few minutes and know more about the vehicle than all of the salesmen at the dealer combined. I learned that long ago.

Hey now, I do real estate on the side, not sure how you can get mislead on a piece of property, we have escrow service that everyone pays/jumps through to literally clarify that everything being presented is correct from all parties involved, buyer/seller/county records.

It's up to the new buyers if they want to pay for any additional inspections before closing escrow.

Super frustrating to think you are getting something and then it’s not there. I just checked my window sticker. On the Limited the pkg is called Panoramic View Monitor PVM with cameras. It’s a $950 option if you decide to change vehicles in the future option code LY. It is not the Technology PKG. Its the same camera set up as the Multiview on the TRD OR pkg and TRD Pro.upload_2022-12-19_7-55-18.jpg

I would have sold my truck by now without the 360 cameras. Would be an absolute nightmare to navigate my driveway and to park in smaller lots.
