Well I can't believe it, but after 16 years with my beloved Taco.. I think we might be making the BIG upgrade.. we tow a 3,500 trailer and want to do more of that in the future.. my Taco has done a noble job the past 3 years (and crawling up and over mountain passes) but the Tundra will make this a LOT nicer experience. What advice do you have as we get closer to buying? We are doing our homework, settled on the model and packages we want (TRD off road etc.), but are there any dealer add-ons you WOULD recommend? Given there are a lot of 2025's on lots I think we have a good shot at getting 10% off MSRP. I feel like it is a buyers market right now (maybe even more so by summer/fall but not sure we will wait that long). I think we will shop around the extended warranty since I know we have time on that (if you know of any ext warranties that will cover all this wild new tech let me know - all the super fancy tech is my biggest concern to be honest). This will only be my 2nd new car/truck in my life - it is a nerve-wracking decision!

    Welcome.

For this guy, a limited trim package would be a minimum. Personally, I don't do dealership add-ons since you can usually get the same if not better products aftermarket. Now sometimes that isn't true. My last truck had spray in bed liner for 300.00 extra. I can't go to Line-X and get the same for anywhere close to that.

For the extended warranty, do a search on here. There are dealerships that offer extended platinum warranties for a great price. Even better you do not have to buy the vehicle at that dealership.

    Good luck with your search.
