Has anyone installed an after market radio that supports Apple car play and a back up camera?

This! Well, at least on the Maestro RR. Once I soldered all of the Maestro RR harness to my Kenwood harness, everything else was just plug and play. I've done a ton of audio installations in the past, but the Maestro is a huge help in, not only simplification, but streamlining a vehicles ancillary component connection to the audio system (ie. steering wheel controls, cameras, antennas, etc). Oh, and the ODBII data connection is super cool as well. Oh, and what really helped me (as I was installing a Kenwood head unit), Dean, over at 5Star Car Audio has a video on Youtube of him connecting the Maestro RR harness to a Kenwood harness. Super easy!

Old thread but I have the same question for my 2018 with the Entune Plus (not JBL) factory radio.

I have researched Crutchfield but it appears none of their offerings keep the factory bluetooth support (steering controls or mic).

Does an optional mestro harness fix this?

    TIA for any advice!

Yes, I installed a Kenwood aftermarket radio and purchased the harness for the steering wheel and microphone. It works perfectly. I have a 2016 Tundra.

Yes. Get the Maestro RR. You probably won’t be able to use the factory mic, but the new HU will probably include one. I’ve got a Pioneer 7600. I have all the steering wheel controls, including some gauges that the Maestro enables. Using the factory backup camera and added a front camera.

I used a Pioneer DHX2600 and the Maestro on my 2016. Amplified non-jbl. Had to use the pioneer mic, but a simple adapter for the camera brings the rear camera in. Maestro doesn't mention it but you do need an antenna adapter. Since I use carplay and don't care for sat radio so I opted not to install those harnesses. But Maestro does support them.
Smaller screen fits in the opening. If you look you can see the mice in the strip under the screen.

I used the one that came with the HRR-TO2 harness can't recall whether it was the 16 or 24 pin but it was just amatter of matching the supplied cables to the factory connector.
