I was able to get assistance from other posts here in the forum but couldn't find answers to my install. Here is what I have:
2012 Sequoia Platinum with JBL system, and RES system.

I'm upgrading the stereo but keeping the JBL amp and speakers.

Radio upgrade and harnesses I purchased:
    - Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX
    - XM Sirius Tuner SVX300
    - Metra 99-8220 Dash Kit in Gloss Charcoal
    - Maestro datalink RR2
    - Maestro HRN-RR-T01 harness
    - Maestro ACC-SAT-T01 satellite antenna adapter for XM Sirius
    - Maestro ACC-USB-T02 adapter to keep OEM USB port on dash

I first flashed the Maestro unit following the prompts in the app (using my mac). This went smooth.

I then started connecting the HRN-RR-T01 harness to the Pioneer radio harness as shown in the wiring diagram provided by Maestro. Then connected the harness to the Maestro RR2 and to the Pioneer radio.

I connected the XM Sirius tuner to the radio and connected the Sequoia's existing antenna using the ACC-SAT-T01 adapter. However, it did not work. It never got signal. I used the satellite antenna that came with the XM Sirius tuner and it worked instantly.

I also connected the OBDII harness that came with the Maestro RR2 unit to the Sequoia's OBDII port.

The HRN-RR-T01 harness came with 3 mini harnesses to connect the back-up camera. I found that the harness #2 was an exact match to the Sequoia's OEM connector.

So far, I have not been able to find a connector that matches the ACC-USB-T02 adapter.

I tested the radio in the Sequoia to check functionality. Everything seems to work including the Radio, XM Sirius (after transferring my existing service to the new tuner which you can do very easy online), CarPlay (I don't have an Android phone so I have not tested that functionality), back-up camera. So far I can tell that sound quality is amazing.

I had to connect the GPS antenna that came with radio for CarPlay to work. I think that now the new radio setup needs 2 GPS antennas: one for the XM Sirius tuner device which uses the Sequoia's OEM antenna, and one for the radio itself. I plan on placing the new GPS antenna hidden within the center speaker location up in the dash.

There are four connectors (#1, #2, #3, #4) in the Sequoia that ended up not being connected to the new harness or radio. See photo for reference. Could you tell what are these for? Which one is the USB port dash connector?

Second photo shows an unplugged connector (#5) from the HRN-RR-T01 harness. I believe these are speakers wires if not using an amp. Am I right?

The OEM mic doesn't seem to work. Perhaps is in one of those unplugged connectors. I have read that the provided radio mic works best so I plan to route it behind the steering wheel trim, the A-pillar, in the driver's side, then in the overhead center console where the OEM mic is located.

    Remaining items:
    - I need to find a way to get the dash OEM USB port to work. Any advice?
    - Have anyone been able to connect the overhead RES display to the "rear monitor output" RCA plug of the aftermarket radio?
    - Options to place a HDMI port in one of the blank switch spots in the dash?

Also, see photos for unused harnesses and adapters (#6 and #7). Did I miss to connect any of them?

    I appreciate your input.

    Thanks.

Probably extra late to the party butnymber 2 and 4 are your rear entertainment system. Having the same problem. There is a harness by axxess called toysav or something like that https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item-107321-Axxess-AX-TOYRSAV.html . I had an 08 platinum and it worked perfect. Connected it in my 2012 platinum and one of the plugs was different. The plug that carries video on your harness is number 4. I de-pin Ed the harness and put the video pins in that connector and the video worked. There was another connector on the Toyota side that fit perfect into the other connector on the audio side toysav harness but nothing output. Still trying to figure that part out. In my sequoia. I don't see that plug as being disconnected so it must be plugged in somewhere on the idayalink harness. Do you get any audio from a DVD when you set your stereo to auxin ? Regarding wire#2 on my stereo was used as the reverse input signal to activate the backup camera. Wire #1 is unimportant. Don't worry about it. Number 3... I don't know but it fits the toysav video socket perfectly. I didn't get a video output from it. If I had to guess, i would say it is related to powering the satellite radio .module in the old stereo.

I've also installed a Kenwood dnr1007xr in a 2019 Highlander hybrid. Don't worry about the leftover plugs on the maestro or harness. Try purplr ones are probably rear speakers but the amp interface harness takes care of those.

I haven’t done anything else to my setup since my post above. I use a male to male headphone plug cable to hear the dvds in the car speakers using the aux source in the radio. One end of the cable goes to one the rear headphone sockets in the console between the front seats, and the other end to the aux socket in the dash. I have not been able to see the dvd video in the main headunit. I’ll follow your directions as soon as I tackle some other upgrades to my speakers and amp. Thank you.
