Anyone here know anything about this company at all? They may be a newer and smaller company but they have some nice things on their site. I have emailed them and have not received a response which is somewhat worrisome sometimes as a consumer.

Never heard of them. There’s also no physical address on their website. Only phone and email, which is also suspicious.

They have some youtube videos and stuff posted up as well as an instagram page and there are a few written reviews about some of their products online as well. Maybe another forum member will live nearby or know something else. Thank you for that information.

I know about them! I've been working here for almost two years. We're not a "middle man type company" and we're located in Northern California. Aside from hitch pins and d-rings, we make all of our own parts in house.
We don't list our address on our site as we don't have a physical showroom yet.
Sorry we didn't reply to your email...we're normally pretty good about that. You can always reach us by phone too (916) 297-7635.

Thanks Nate. Question for you (which I am sure you will get a lot due to competition in the market), do you test your winch shackles or anything like other companies do? Your new winch shackle looks interesting but there is not a lot of information on it.

    Thank you.

I'm happy to provide info on any of our parts. Feel free to email sales@agency6.com or me directly, nate@agency6.com.
We do in house FEA testing and some load testing. We also send products out for more severe testing. In the case of the winch shackle, we'll have independent tests available to share later this month.
I'm happy to post the results back here if that's okay.
    Thanks,
    Nate

That’s awesome. Your winch shackle is a much better design that the completion. It’s less expensive and you don’t need to purchase an additional rope guard. Additionally, you can access the pin with Allen wrench instead of needing one off snap ring pliers to access it anywhere outside your garage (which is rare, but could happen).

You should post pics of your products here and maybe ask to become a vendor on the forum. Small companies with excellent service and communication do really well with this forum and community.

Eh. Idk man, like you said above there isn't a lot of information about their winch shackle. I like the look of their stuff but is it "much better designed" than Factor 55 gear? Not really. I love my ultra hook. Closed system winching for most applications but still gives me a hook for the one off situation where I want it. Yes, now I do carry a set of snap ring pliers in my tool bag but honestly I don't think I'll ever have to use it, Factor 55 makes a fast FID so I can just splice my winch rope if it breaks, I'd never replace it on the trail. My $0.02

Dollar to dollar the Flat Link E from Factor 55 that also requires an additional purchase of a rope guard is more expensive than this Agency design. That’s all I meant. Agency doesn’t make an ultra hook competitor so I can’t compare it. Additionally, their hitch is similar in design but less expensive as well. I’m sure individuals make this argument in the tire industry (Toyo versus Nitto versus Cooper etc) or wheel market like Method versus SCS versus FN versus whoever.
