So, I’m loving my new truck, but the bright white and yellow stickers on the sun visors are a real eyesore.

Anyone have any tips for getting this thing off cleanly? I tested basically soaking the sticker in Isopropyl alcohol for twenty minutes (my way of a paper towel and a zip lock bag over the shade to keep it from evaporating). The sticker came off nicely, but the glue is still there in one piece!

not 100% sure, but I feel like I saw someone on here take them off with a heat gun, being careful not to scorch the fabric…

The key is to heat it up before you peel the sticker off. A hair dryer works really good, heat gun is too hot. To remove the left over glue use goo gone.

I was thinking about Goo Gone but this glue looks more like a sheet, and I was worried about staining. I’ll try the heat though. Thanks guys!

Ouch, that is exactly why this job has me too scared to try! I did see a post someone on here as mentioned above, heat gun or hair dryer got the person's sticker clean off.

3m adhesive remover work good on these kinds of adhesives. Maybe color test it first in a hidden area. I use it on stains in seats, headliners and carpet and it has worked great. Mild soap and water to final clean.
