Air bag wiring? prerty much all over the truck man. Under the dash to under the hood. Like I said if you dig in on your truck and see yellow loom stay away from it unless you know what you are doing.

As for thr stock radio if you pull the unit out you might see yellow loom but it passes the radio going to passenger side air bag.

Air bag light on do to aftermarket radio? This one I have never heard of.
If the airbag light is on you have a fault in the system. Needs to be checked to see what the fault is.

Yes they said it was because the wiring for it was plugged into the stock radio. But i will get it checked out.

    It could be a fuse?

Check fuses but sounds like you have a fault in the system. Many guys up here 2nd and 3rd gen tundras replaced stock radio with no air bag light.

Airbag to radio is in the gm (on star) system.

Really you need the proper scan tool to get into the air bag system. Alot of obd2 scanners dont go air bag deep into the system( that I know of under 2000 bucks)Any good shop will have the proper scan tool to extract the code and see what the failure is.

I have a scan tool and didn't pop up anything. So best to just take it to a shop have them do a diagnosis on it then move on?

Yep. Only the high end scan tools can pull that code. Pay to play as they say.

Have them do a check o the system there is a reason why the light is on means fault. Bad sensor to bad clockspring.

It could be a clock-spring wire gone bad too.

You need a new mechanic. Airbag does not connect to the stock radio.
