    07 tundra sr5 with the 4.7. I am on my second air injection pump and my 5th new check valve. Moisture keeps getting in to these valves and ruining them. Truck has 169k miles. Less than 3k miles on it since the last time the valves went out. Pump and both valves replaced around 158k. Since then they keep fouling out and ruining. I'm in desperate need of help. This is too expensive for a truck I'm still paying on.

    East Tn. Had a large amount of rainfall recently. I do park it in the garage. I'm thinking of booting a boot on the end of the pump intake and turn it up towards the hood of the truck. Maybe it would keep from getting so much water in it???? I'm at a total loss. I don't understand.

    I thought there was a change in the intake for the air, Toyota added a snorkel to the end.

    Is there also a after market kit you can by that relocates the intake lines for the AIP to the air cleaner box?

    I honestly don't know. I thought about just buying that bypass kit and just blocking it off completely but I have mixed feelings about it.

    Will a bypass no longer work? Now that you have them fixed again maybe now would be a good time to bypass it. Or the relocation kit for the inlet.

    Anyone happen to know where to buy the relocate kit? Or has anyone here purchased the whole wiring bypass kit before?

    @Joshalan

    Did the bypass wiring kit work?? I noticed if it has rained or been very humid out, or the truck has sat for several days this becomes an issue and throws the code. After spending the first 300$ at the problem I simply take the negative cable off the battery for about 10 seconds and I'm back in business for awhile. Toyota knows about the issue, but I want to say they won't do anything for us with over 120k or so miles. My oil filter choke sleeve got damaged? And Toyota said I needed a whole new engine,lol, I'll never go to them fools again.. all about the money... My money light barely comes on anymore except for this emissions smog pump bs. Good luck and thanks.
