Has anyone installed air valves in the cab to control air bag psi from the drivers seat with a ridgid cordless pump? Ridgid pump is only $70 compared to the on board compressor kits.

I did kinda what I think you’re asking. I have airlift airbags and an airlift compressor. I ran the hoses in to the cab and mounted the compressor behind the rear passenger side seat where the jack was. I used a plug in the floor to run the hoses.

Not the best picture, but here one is.

That’s a great idea but I was thinking about the valves up front where I can manually inflate with the cordless compressor.

It’s the same idea. I have a T on my hose in the cab where I can manually inflate if the compressor goes out. In your instance, just run the valve up front instead of behind the rear seat. It’ll work.

    I understand now sorry.
Where did you run the hoses to get into the cab?
Iam going to look for an existing hole instead of drilling.

Yes I did, this is the control panel that I have installed, and I put the compressor behind the drivers rear seat.

I can inflate and deflate while sitting in the drivers seat.

I cant remember what hole I used to get the plumbing thru, but I seem to recall that there are a couple of rubber bungs around there in the floor.

I used a plug in the floor under the rear seat. There’s also plugs under the front seats that I used to run the wires for my pop n lock. Just cut a small slit and use some silicone after you run the hose. It’s never leaked. The part # was on the plug too if you ever remove it and want to replace the plug.

    Function before sparkle.
I thought about what you are asking but decided against it. Instead I placed the valves in where the licence plate bolts were.

Doing the inflation outside allows you to ensure the load it level and you put only as much as needed. I would have been going outside to check the results anyways.

Than you all for the info. I see your point about being outside checking the height.
