Anyone have suggestions on which brand is best/cost effective? I live somewhere where it gets cold/snow so obviously I like the remote start feature… looking at compustar or viper. Any opinions on which is best? I have had a viper alarm in the past and every-time someone would drive past my truck the alarm would chirp and drive me and my neighbors nuts. Does anyone know if compustar is like this as well? Or if there is any sensitivity adjustments?

I have a Compustar 2 way on my 2016. Havent had any issues with it at all.

Also - if you can install yourself. James at Tech12volts may be able to help you.

Compustar 2 way, no issues. Does chirp as a warning but only on hard impact, you can set sensitivity setting to your liking.
