    23 Limited TRD OR Hybrid
    Good Evening Folks!

for a couple weeks I have been watching everything on youtube about the Tundra Hybrid, how it works, all the techy stuff and whatnot. I pulled the trigger on a 23 Limited TRD OR Hybrid today, had to travel a ways to get it so had a bit of seat time on the way home to get to know it.
So far I am very happy with it - what an amazing machine, previously owned tacomas/4runners/ and most recently an 07 tundra.

Some questions I am curious about,
when starting from a stop under battery power, does the starter engage to start the engine or does the hybrid system lock the convertor and "bump" start the engine?
when sitting and the engine shuts off in park, and it starts up again - same question

    any other info is appreciated,

The car care nut has some good videos but I haven't seen this covered,

    Thx!

Here’s a diagram of the system. The electric motor is connected to the engine by a clutch and to the transmission through the torque converter.

This other diagram shows that the electric motor is used to start the engine
