    Hello all,

i just bought a 2008 Tundra and all doors are not auto locking/unlocking. When i try pressing the lock/u lock button from inside or use the factory key fobs i hear a sound inside the dashboard but non of the doors work. Only manually. I checked the fuses in the picture and opened the glove box to look for any relay but not successful so far. Any suggestions? If it was a single door i would’ve narrowed it down to a mechanism/actuator inside the door with an issue.

This just happened to my 2012 the other day. It was raining and the inside controls got wet. I could remote unlock, but couldn’t lock the truck by button. Only manually. Waited til the next day when things dried out and it started working again. Probably not much help but maybe give you an area to look at? Good luck.

How do you know all the actuators don’t need to be replaced? Do you have a good battery?

Just a wild guess. But might be highly unlikely that all the actuators go out at the same time unless it’s something else causing that symptom.

Have they ever worked? When you say auto lock/unlock are you referring to locking wo any action on your part, say after you start moving? If so i believe they can be programmed to work as such.

it's for sure the actuator motors. find actuatorsplus on ebay, they're about $65 apiece for refurbished OEM units. mine work perfectly.

Pull the door panels off and check for actuation of the actuators, also check voltage if all good check linkage to locks and lube. If no voltage trace back from there. Its hard to tell whats going on, but if you just bought it my guess is the previous owner had some sort of aftermarket accessory that they removed in a haste and somethings not connected.
