    Now I am not saying this makes a non jbl tundra sound system high end whatsoever. But I just put one in and I am blown away on the difference. I never even knew my door speakers could handle bass. Just a huge upgrade for cheap which is enough for me. just sat in my driveway for an hour listening to music

    I ran one of those in a system in the past. Never had an issue. You’re at least doubling the power from the factory amp. Nice amps and easy to install. I actually almost did 2 of them in my current truck. One for mids and tweets and another one for the midbass but decided to go a different direction.

    nothing wrong with those amps. Glad your enjoying them.

    Just curious, have you ever seen what the OEM door speakers look like? I don't know how they can even be classified as a speaker.

    They look like cerwin Vegas with the orange surround and magnets the size of a peppermint patty. But probably don’t sound terrible up to a point.

    I have not, but the gain of doing it made it far worth it to me. was thinking maybe door speakers also but i stop there.
