Attached is a pic of P/S reservoir & P/S Vane Pump. Do I have the diagram correct ? Is the return line the fatter of the 2 hoses ? The one that runs to the Vane Pump ? I want to flush my P/S fluid by disconnecting return line ? Just want to make I am disconnecting the right one.

The smaller hose attached to reservoir goes down to a hard steel line whereas the bigger hose on the reservoir goes to the vane pump.

    Thanks in advance....

I would think feed line would be the line lowest down on the reservoir that way it always has fluid to suck up. So the opposite of how you labeled it.

Unless we are looking at it from 2 different perspectives. I'm thinking big line feeds the pump and small line returns to reservoir.

The larger line is the lowest down on the reservoir. So that is why I am thinking the bigger line is the return line.....and according to the attached pic

    Thoughts ?

In your pic the line closest to the camera looks bigger and closer to the bottom.

The thread linked by @FrenchToasty is probably best thing to follow for the procedure. Forgot about that thread, which is pretty bad considering it's the one I used for my flush.

They both low pressure return lines to the pump.

The clamps should tell you everything you need to know.

Look at those clamps. Based on the size alone, use your best judgment. Which do you think would be higher pressure? Which lower?

That's the angle I'd be approaching it. But hey, maybe I'm wrong.

Edit: Position is also typically indicative, as is position of filter/screen.

Bottom of res is typically a supply line. The line with a screen over it is also typically the supply line, as with an oil pickup tube, etc.

For a guy that just got done doing his camshaft seals on a 4.7L VVTi engine, I misinterpreted the pic in FSM......the .pdf file I attached above indicates return line going to vane pump. I guess not.

Thanks guys for the replies and I will follow the procedure by the linked thread.

But now I am throwing DTC's

P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input
    &
P0113 Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input

never had these before in the last 162k miles......

MAF taken out, cleaned, put back in, & reconnect. Cleared codes and they come back immediately on startup....

I cant catch a break here.

    Any thoughts.....

With an OBDII scan tool or battery unhook method. If scan tool, is it capable of reading MAF and IAT readings ?
Did you use CRC Maf type cleaner or something else ?
Just checking but you're aware MAF and IAT are in same encloser ?
There are troubleshooting checks from FSM you can make if you have a VOM(volt ohm meter)
Or after 162K miles, consider replacing.

Did you bump a wire harness off somewhere?

Blew out airbox, air filter, pulled MAF sensor and blew it out with compressed air from a distance....hooked everything back up.....disconnected battery for 10 mins to clear codes.....

And I am code free on startup.....will monitor it over the coming days....

Between camshaft and crank seals on VVTi 4.7L here, P/S Fluid flush and now MAF sensor.....I am done for awhile.....

    Thanks for everyone's input.....

Forums are great for sharing knowledge....
