I'm hoping someone knows the remedy for this. Amazon music with Carplay has been working great since I got my 2022 Tundra. Now for a week or two it will start playing music but shows a little microphone in the left of the dash and the music only comes out of the front left corner. When I exit out of that the music just stops. Any ideas?

See below image, this is what happens.

looks like it's glitching. close the app and re-open to see if it goes away

I did that 5 or 6 times, rebooted phone, etc... It appears like it's still playing but no sound. Other apps all work fine...

as a person who doesn't have an electronics degree nor ever worked in the tech industry, my professional advise is to get rid of your wife and see if it'll work afterwards

    Few questions
    - does Amazon music play fine with headphones in your house?
    - if so, connect in Tundra via Bluetooth rather than Carplay....what happens now. All speakers of just the one side?

Yes it works fine in everywhere else. I deleted it, reinstalled it, played with all the settings. I ended up switching to apple music and it works perfectly, CYA later Amazon music.

If you are running iOS go to settings and under Amazon music, you will see hardware access from there you can disable microphone access for amazon music this could help.

    1. Restart the Amazon Music App.
    2. Disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and then start playing Amazon Music on your iPhone. After that, turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
    3. Update your iOS system to the latest version.
    4. Reinstall the Amazon Music app
    5. Clear cache files.

Or maybe there is something wrong with your method? You can check this post: How to get Amazon Music on Apple CarPlay
