I just installed tech12 volts system and the JBL club A5055 amp (5 Channel) and was wondering if it needs to be tuned? I did it as best that I could, for what I think sounds right. and have it set up per James instructions.

also where do people put the bass button? i would prefer something easy to get to and behind the dash ideally would be in a empty push button or close to it. i don't like the center console area since my kids..... enough said, Im sure they would break it.

I have that same amp in my truck.
It took me some time to get it, but if you take pictures of the settings you can always go back to there and tune over.
Can you post a picture of your amp dials?
So I can see how close we are from center.

I see your Sub is set to INTERNAL Input and your Phase is set at 0.deg

Since you have your photo of the settings you currently have.....
flip the 2 switches and make your settings match mine and take it for a test drive.
Its easy to return to 'center' if its not sweeter then yours.

I know mine are off from Taylors/tech12volts baseline suggestions, but I can tell you I haven't moved a dial on it since the picture

    LMFAO
try it and let me know how it sounds on your stage.

I had a JBL Club 4505 that I exchanged for the JBL 5505 because I had an amp failure.
I started with that sheet I posted and got where I am now.
    Its Beautiful!
That being said, the JBL 4505 was "dead on" with that base line sheet, this JBL 5055 took me a little but its exactly like the first one sound wise.

Just and fyi, don't worry about the phase setting. That is mainly for having one or more subs invert mounted. Like when one sub is facing the inside of the box and another is facing outwards.

So unless the sub is playing into the range of another speakers, i.e. mid bass/midrange, it wont affect anything.
