Looking for 2007-2021 (think they stopped before ‘21?) and 4x4.

2007-2013 is the year range for Regular Cab Short Bed. These are considered 2nd Gen

2007-2017 is the year range for Regular Cab Long bed. These are considered 2.5 Gen from 2014-2017.

Only long bed regular cabs were produced when the 2014 2.5 Gen update came out.

Production of regular cabs ceased entirely in August of 2017.

More were made in 2007 than any other year. The holy grail of regular cabs is the 4x4 5.7 short bed with the console shifter. Not exactly easy to find.

Hopefully, in the near future, I'll be buying 2.5gen RCLB, convert them to RCSB, and selling them.

I opted against cutting down a long bed and just converted a 2007 short bed to the 2018 style.

Majority of the long beds are as base as a base work truck trim comes.

Yeah, I've seen your awesome build thread - I don't have $20k+ to do a conversion :p Hopefully the novelty of having an 2.5G RCSB will lure people in to buy it, regardless of trim, to make me some additional income.

Understand you are selling to a limited market. Younger guys and older retired guys are your prime buyers. Younger guys don’t have a lot of money, older guys do but they want “stock” trucks. Most middle aged people with a family need a crew cab and the wife an suv, no extra money for a single cab toy. Prob takes $15k to get a good 14-17 long bed. Very few exist.

I figure if the first one doesn't sell, then I have myself another toy to play with

Funny enough it got posted 2-3 days ago and the front end was still all black in primer. Talk about a quick paint job, take it for what you will.

Could be a cool truck but price is too high for what it really is.

I've been looking for so long missed a few. I want the 5.7 RCSB with a bench (3 seater). I'll usually find one with either the 4.7 or the console shifter. I think it may be easier/cheaper to find a double cab slice off the extra door and weld it back together at this point.
