    Greetings.

I am in the market for a head unit. I am kinda leaning towards the Pioneer DMH- WT3800. I saw the Sony XAV- 8100 but I cant connect a front facing camera to this unit. I was hoping for some insight for the Pioneer or is there is something better out there. The camera is important to me as well as the navi and phone connectivity/ streaming android auto/ car play.

    Thank you in advance.

Should be plenty of reviews on Crutchfield.

Checkout Kenwood. Agree with researching on Crutchfield.

Looks like a decent unit, but seems there are some issues with connectivity with CarPlay, and with the latest release of Android 14.
I installed a Kenwood unit last year in our 07 Tubdra. Got it from Crutchfield which is great for advice and tech support. Be prepared to budget $$$ for all the “extra stuff” if you want to use steering wheel controls, backup camera, etc.
Keep us updated on what you get.

I went with Kenwood, and am very satisfied.

I have the pioneer and I’m happy with it so far, most of these touchscreen stereos all do the same stuff more or less now a days. Really just comes down you your preference in my opinion

If a headunit only has one hookup for a backup camera you can add this:

    Mine works great.
