So put truck in 4 high and it works but when trying to go 4lo nothing happens?

With 4 hi pushed in and in neutral you are then pushing 4lo button correct?

    What's wrong with yours?

Best bet for what you need is a junkyard, just know the HVAC controls and dash parts are NOT interchangeable between all models, nor years. Center dash panel can be wildly different year to year, and mildly different within the same year.

For the 2000 Tundras, at least for Access Cab, here is the exploded parts page for electrical.

The 3rd exploded diagram shows the button caps - THE BUTTON CAPS ONLY - are outlined below, 4HI on the left, 4LO on the right. This is only the caps, which can be a pain in the ass to replace. You've given so little info about what you need that I don't know how else to help you.

    Ah, there's the more information.

Did you bother to check the 4WD fuse in your in-dash fusebox?

Take a voltmeter and check for voltage to the button?

Pop out the panel and check for burn marks on the circuit board?

One other bit - if you need to replace the control board, you'll need to know which one of these three parts is correct, I can't tell you. I guess if you're lucky it's the $200 one. If not, you're looking at $800-$1,000. The parts info at Toyota's site isn't helping me figure it out, and I can't find images of the parts online. I recommend being very, very sure your board is actually fried before going there, which should be very do-able with a multimeter. (more info after the image)

    upload_2023-1-5_21-13-1.jpg
talks about the R&R process for replacing the board.
