    None yet, just bought 9/30/23
I'm thinking about lowering and leveling. Not so much that the body scrapes speedbumps or anything, but maybe three or four inches. Wondering if anyone else did that to a 3rd gen, and how it looks...

This truck was at sema. I don't have a completed picture but here's when he started it.

I'm an old guy who owned a lowered GM back in the early 2000s. Have always preferred lowered over lifted. Even though my last truck was a F250. That's why I bought a Tundra with the Sport pkg. Color matched and just low enough not to be bouncing. I don't plan on doing anything else to this truck. Rides like a sports car on its street tires. I prefer driving it over my wifes Vette.

I just came home with this Magnetic Grey Metallic SR5 2wd. I think it’s got a pretty nice low look as is. The matching ARE cap helps the look.

One easy option for you if you wanted to get a lower look would be a set of larger lighter colored wheels with low profile tires — you can see how the aluminum wheels appear to make the body of my truck look smaller compared to what your black wheels do — they kinda make your truck more monolithic and large.

I think you’d get a good bit of the lowered vibe just by making the wheels look bigger.

And the truck would retain its ride and resale value, which I think tends to go down for lowered trucks because the market is niche. Especially nice new ones.

I'd go for the 22" wheels with 40 or 30 series tires! And a drop kit. That will get you down about 4" and then no need for running boards!
