I'm sure it's been discussed, but with a lot of 35x12.50r18 tires for the big brands being F ply (12 ply), I'm curious to see if anyone has real world experience running them and their thoughts?
I ordered a set of the new Toyo Open Country R/T Trail in 35x12.50r18. Spec sheet has weight at 66 lbs so still fairly light for that size of tire, they are 12 ply though.
Post pics and your thoughts below if your running a 12 ply tire on your Tundra!!

Don't figure you will get many pictures on this of F ply.

35x12.50r18 Ridge graps here, no complaints. Tires feel more stable than factory, less of a jello feel while cornering over bumps. Yet no real increase in the road feel or jarring effect stiff tires can sometimes add. Just did 5k mile+ road trip and averaged 17.4mpg (hand calculated).

Mine are F ply do to the 20 inch wheel and brand. Remember that load index plays a part so to get the max weight on the tire in that category it needs to be "F" , but the load index would be less than say a comprable 285/75/20 E tire and ride better. I have no complaints they are certainly not as soft as stock but I am not complaining rides fine for me, probably be even better when I take off the wescott and put on Elkas or Dobinsons.
