    Does anyone have any experience with Mergescreens CarPlay modules? The unit looks very cool but looks can be deceiving. Thoughts/experiences?

    I've followed the Tesla style screens for a few years. Aucar and Phoenix both sell those same headunits. Imo, they seem to be more prone to issues than the Joying or Daishita units. They're all Android based headunits that have a third party software connector to Carplay or Android Auto. These Tesla style units are also twice the cost with no extra features other than they remove your physical buttons for soft buttons like a Tesla.

    Also the Joying headunits are ugradeable from Android 10 to Android 12. I've not once seen an Android firmware upgrade for the Tesla style units

    I just ordered one and I’m getting it installed next Monday. I know this forum is old but I’ll still put out an update. I’ve only heard good things about these screens.

    @Nathannwokenkwo
    Just saw your post while also researching that company - see you bought a few weeks ago. how did it go? My biggest worry is the unit working with all the other features I have (my heated/cooled seats are only controlled by my screen).
    Full disclosure.. Im driving a Jeep Cherokee lol... but your post came up on my google search of the manufacturer and figured it was worth asking!
    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers
