Looking for one with oil access, don't love taking my plow frame apart to get the skid plate off every oil change. It's either this or cutting a hole in the OEM plate. Really don't want to spend $500 on an RCI.

I’ve got that skid plate. Many of us in here have it. I haven’t put mine on yet, but it’s a really nice skid.I got mine off eBay when they had a great sale on it.

Any comparison in terms of construction quality vs the RCI?
Skid plate is on my “sooner than later” list of upgrades. Like most, I want to be budget friendly and a good steward of my resources. I don’t need name brands, but I’m willing to pay for them if the construction and/or performance is significantly better than the “off” brands.

    looks fantastic!

I went this route due to my truck not having one when I bought it. It definitely looks better than the stock OEM one.

I bought mine from eBay. Same exact plate as TRD. I slapped a TRD decal from TVD(awesome guy!) and you'll be all set

I've had it in my cart for a while, just waiting for a sale or a used one to pop up on Amazon.

You'll find yourself wanting more than just the skid plate decal.

Who makes the two rear plates that you have there?

I liked RCI's more, I had their steel one on my 2014. The RCI Steel is more heavy than the Amazon skid but IMO the RCI has a better design and seemed like it would take more of a beating. My 2017 did not come with one when I bought it so the amazon skid was an easy, cheap, and quick solution. If you can afford it, get the RCI.

I just bought one on Amazon. Any problems i should know about installing this with already existing Valhalla cat plates? I suspect it will be a little tight trying to mount the rear end of the skid with the cat plate

Zero issues other than the mpunting hardware falling out of the box when it was delivered. I assumed that I was going to be missing most of it but was only short one bumper mount.

Finally had time to do oil change and install the Amazon skit plate. Hit it with some rustoleum perfect gray and threw an eBay trd emblem. Since plate was off I removed the front sway bar and tow hooks and hit them red too match the Amazon red rear sway bar. Came out pretty good and happy with outcome. Quality of skid plate is very solid, more solid then the OEM non trd.

Saw a notice that RCI has sale on the transmission skid which will come w/ catalytic guards for free. Was going to order them but I have this skid. Anyone know if they are compatible before ordering? Thanks in advance.

They are compatible for sure! BUT, that depends when you ordered and installed your skid? The newer versions have the holes/provisions to throw them on...if you ordered and installed the skid currently on int he last couple years, you might need to contact RCI and confirm.
