Been watching a few videos on YT about these products. I’m wanting to black out my emblems on my 22 Limited. I have chrome TUNDRA on my tailgate, which I believe is not stock original. Please let me know yes or no.
I was considering buying all new emblems, but just came across these two products today. I was wondering who has used them and their thoughts.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

I plasti dipped my grill emblem almost 3 years ago. Still looks fine today. My truck had all black emblem except for the grill. I didn’t want to buy the whole set from Toyota just for grill emblem. This was before aftermarket was an option.
Super easy to take off, just reach behind the emblem and then the pull 3 tabs. It came off. Then just did 3 coat of matte black plastic dip.

thanks for replying instead of telling op to search for his answer

I too have plastidipped mine for last 2+ years, I also did it for previous vehicles/motorcycles etc random parts, holds up well, you may get a rock chip here or there and the chrome does shine through, but you can touchup if you want

I actually did search also. This forum only as it is what I have and wanted to know how it worked on this gen Tundra.

I feel good that it will give me what I am looking for with these replies. I very much appreciate all help I receive here. I have chime in a few places where I thought I had a good input and just hope for the same back.
