Ive been pretty set on getting 7” Fox coilovers when i decide to upgrade, but i just came across these. Anyone know if it will work or how the ride will be? They look pretty sweet. Its originally designed for the Readylift 6-8.

    heres a link: https://www.readylift.com/toyota-tundra-shocks-coil-overs-46-5780.html

someone on readylift’s q&a asked if it would work on a pro comp 6” and they could not confirm fitment (or chose not to).

Those are super nice. I really think they would work just fine.

Im figuring the upper and lower mounts are basically the same on all tundra coilovers so why wouldnt it work. Hoping for others to chime in

I have them and absolutely love them. The ride quality is night and day difference from the stock coil and 6” spacer. I have a bunch of pics and info on my build thread if you wanna check them out.

    just search sullymoto19 build.

They’ve also only been out since November, so not much playing around with them yet, I’m sure. But they are good for readylift 6 and 8” kits, as they are fully adjustable. From the factory, they come adjusted for an 8” kit

    https://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/mobil...lifts-for-toyota-tundra-2007-2020-p35262.aspx

Here they are for a fair bit cheaper. I have no doubt they are a quality part. Still no clarity if they will work for a procomp lift. The pro comp coils I have use a similar type upper plate to mount. I'd guess they will work. From my research with icon, king, fox, and one other mfg (the name escapes me right now) these are a much better value if they work. Remote resi (not necessary for how I use my pavement princess, but super cool factor lol) the others (minus fox) are not remote resi and all more $.

Someone with alot of tundra lift experiance like @Coachbuilder1 could maybe help. Hes a busy guy though.

I plan on turning my procomp 7” into an 8” so i like the idea of these being preset to 8” vs buying a 7” coilover and preloading it. Im planning on doing uppers at the same time (leaning towards SPC’s). I cant see why it wouldnt work so when the time comes I’ll give it a shot

with the coachbuilder shims, i picked up about 2.5" of lift on each side. But overall ride quality is outstanding

So u went from 8” suspension to 10-10.5” from adding coilovers and shims? If i could get my truck to 9” all suspension, with good ride quality, i would be freakin stoked

Yeah, i would say I'm over 10" for sure. If i think about it, I'll remeasure and see what it is now. They have prolly settled out quite a bit. But I'm pretty confident youd be at 9. ANNNDDDDD you can always crank those babies up a little more if needed

oh yeah, word of advise; these do not come with a spanner wrench. so you'll need to find one if you want to go up or down.

This is giving me life lol. I wanted a little more height but couldnt justify the crazy price tag of a bulletproof.

They were $1200 when they first dropped. About a week later, they were up to $1600...

I got a little hook up thanks to a local shop, so I paid a little less than the $1200 listed originally ;)

Sullymoto, I know this is a old thread but I tried to search for the build you did with the bistein b8 8125 coilovers. But I had no luck. I am trying to decide between the 8125's and RC vertex. Only reason rc is on the list is because they come with a adjustable reservoirs.
Do you still like the 8125s or would you go a different route now. I too have a 6in ready lift already. I want to get rid of the spacer and get better ride quality

The person you are asking questions to hasn't be on the forum since March 2022.

I have no advice to help you but I believe I found the build thread with the info on his Bilstein 8125's. Hope this helps you some:
