I have the red in a pro but would like to swap someone for the black pro interior. 4 pcs of door trim, 2 pcs of dash trim, front and rear seats. Located in AL.

I’m sure someone will be all over this. I personally think the red looks awesome in Lunar Rock trucks.

It looks awesome in photos but I wonder if it's "too loud" for an everyday driver. That's some big red!

Big red energy with that Pro.

It's a bit much for me and I don't blame you for wanting to change it. The red seats with all of the red trim is a lot to take in...visually.

I think you could probably get by with just changing the trim pieces out for black. It would go a long way to softening the visual assaults on the eyeballs without costing you as much as swapping the seats. Just a thought.

I don’t think so. It’s red but tastefully done. The quality feels Lexus-esque and the seats are the biggest pieces of red. Most everything else is black. Not like the 80s where everything was red: steering wheel, headliners, carpet, seat, plastics, EVERYTHING! Lol

I love the Pro but I could never get one and give up my 1794 interior. Most beautiful interior I’ve EVER sat in even if it is cheap material for some interior pieces. I love it!

I personally think the interior of the 1794 is the classiest of the bunch. I would want to swap out that Pro heavy day screaming red too. It's not a Porsche or Ferrari, who's red interiors are works of art. It's nice if you're into the whole "look at me" , "don't forget to hit subscribe" generation, but I past that long ago. And I still have an 86 4Rnner with the ALL RED interior! Lol more of a Bordeaux than a heavy day tampon red like that new PRO. To each their own, but that 1794's interior is the shit.

I would think changing out seats only would look cool. Red accents or red seats.

Do you know how difficult it is to replace/swap the dash or door pieces? Wondering how difficult it would be to swap as well (red to black). I assume they could also be ordered from Toyota???

that so needs a black headliner, whomever made the decision to not make it black should be fired immediately

I thought about that and understand why they didn’t. Black would be extremely high contrasting and potentially overkill.

how can a black headliner be extremely high contrasting overkill when you have eye blasting red seats ?

I think it would make the entire thing look much better , but alas everyone is different

I really like the red of the Pro for sure. But yeah the 1794 is somewhat subtle yet so over the top (coming from a Tacoma especially ) at the same time if that makes sense. Lol!

My headliner is gray or charcoal colored I am pretty sure. I’ll look tomorrow.

I am in Louisiana, likely not far. I actually would be willing to swap trim pieces but I’m not sure how the seats would look with Solar Octane. There might be a reason it wasn’t a possible option with this color. I do think they look awesome in the white trucks though. I still sometimes wish mine was stormtrooper white but I’m not willing to spend the money on a wrap

I'm actually going back to a Platinum. The headliner wasn't the main reason but it is certainly a top reason.

I almost got a pro, but the headliner and a few lacking creature/ family comforts swayed me to the 1794 off-road. I’ve owned 3 platinums prior and love the 1794 interior- always loved the red rock interior but the old 1794 didn’t do it for me, the new one is refined and dialed

    How about platinum interior
    confusing statement.

All the accents are blacked out and to complete it the roof and pillars should be black. It’s bad enough with the black interior that it’s light because it just doesn’t flow. But with the red interior you’re introducing an opposing color All together.

They should have taken notes from similar in class trail and off road vehicles that have black headliners; ZR2, AT4/x, tremor, raptor, TRX all have black headliners .

I owned a pro and the light headliner killed it. For other reasons I’m in the platinum but the black headliner in the platinum I appreciate more than I thought.

we were talking about using a black headliner. The gray softens the contrast a bit.

a blacked out interior with contrasting red would make the red too harsh for most people and make the cabin feel dark an ominous. When trying to mass-market a vehicle, it makes sense to soften the edges a bit.

Sorry guys i missed a few replies there. Yall basically are having the same idead i am going back and forth with. The trim pieces arent that bad to swap i dont think, the seats are alittle more involved and the seat belts. Toyota does sell all of the items but they might be on backorder awhile. I looked into just buying the trim and leaving the seats red, i think that would tone it down alot. I actually have greyish seat covers on it now with a little trd pro patch i had made

Talked with a parts guy: the trim on the dash (right of steering wheel and left of wheel are available to order). The door panel trim is only available by buying the entire panel according to him at this time. Im not sure if that insert just doesnt come out or what the deal is. Would prefer to swap all red for all black because these parts are high as a cats back, in Northeast AL

I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
If I take a roadtrip from SEA to JAX, I'll try and keep you in mind. Wouldn't mind banging red.
