I have a kit for AVS/air ride Platinums for sale. I'm going with a bigger kit and never installed it.

Haven't installed it. Not willing to sacrifice ride quality for a better look. I've seen many people on the FB pages saying it ruined their ride, and most removed them.

Thank you, that is helpful. I don't want to lose much if any ride quality

Westcott Lift AVS/Rear Air, 35/12.5/18 Toyo Open Country AT3, Method 305 NV 18x9 (+18 Offset), Extang Solidfold 2.0 Tonneau
A post about this I made from a while ago- hope it helps.
    ————-
    Hi all -
Heres a few shot of the Westcott AVS/Air Lift kit and a few findings. This is a 2023 Platinum Magnetic Gray Metallic sitting on Method 305 NV Double Black (18x9, +18mm Offset, 6x5.5, 108 Centerbore) wrapped in Toyo Open Country AT3s 35/12.5/18 D. Here are a few things to note that many have asked:

    - Yes, the front lift is 'about' 2 inches and not 3
    - Yes, you can set it up a rake (mine has about an inch) by adjusting the rear air control arms for height
    - Yes, 35 inch tires with wheels that have +18 offset will easily clear with zero rubbing (as along as the front liner is pinned back)
    - Yes, AVS controls still work
    - Yes, rear air controls will still cycle through H-M-L just fine

I understand that stance, wheel choice and ride-quality are ALL based on opinion/preference but here is my two cents. In my opinion (and one that drove a 2012 Tacoma for 11 years) the ride quality isn't 'crazy' different than stock. Yes, it is slightly stiffer/rough like most lifts and larger AT tires end up being... but nothing that makes me second guess putting the lift on.

I have it on mine, and haven’t experienced the issues others have. Had 35x11 tires and wheels with a +19 offset installed at the same time. Mine rides just fine.
Only thing I’ll say is if I move the rear air controls to high it does get significantly more bouncy, so I leave it at default.

I really like the look and I can handle a slight trade-off on ride quality.

I understand that ride quality is subjective but how can there be such varying opinions on this. Could it be some weren't installed correctly versus others?

That’s a good question. Several people here have complained about this lift, and didn’t seem to believe me when I said I had a good experience with it. The place that did mine specializes in Toyotas and it’s pretty much all they work on. They recommended it to me and said all the customers they’d done them for were happy.
Since they are specifically more knowledgeable about Toyotas and have done several of these setups, it could be that they figured something out that other shops haven’t. I’m honestly not educated enough about lifts to know. I just know I’m happy with mine.
Like I said, there is a significant decrease in ride quality when raising the rear air controls. It gets really bouncy. Maybe trim levels without the ability to adjust that are stuck in that mode?

Thank you. I've decided to purchase the lift. I have pretty good confidence in my shop, He is Toyota almost exclusively, but I'll have to ask him if he's done this particular lift before. His shop pretty much focuses on rock crawling, etc. Pretty sure we'll get it figured out. I'll check back with my feedback once installed.

    Thanks all

Also, who did your alignment? A Tire Shop or Toyota dealership?

    Thanks

Same place that did the lift. They sold and installed the wheels, tires and everything.
