Yeah I was hoping for it to be in the engine bay. Or even under the seat

i mean cool yeah, but jesus christ that is gonna be a pain in the ass to run the wires all the way into the engine bay, and to SP. maybe the doods at @memario1214 aka HSO can make a under drivers seat mount, that would be better for me. thats just wild, 624$ for a mount.

Nice! Honestly, with my project m topper coming, I think I’ll just sell my switch pros, and build a cheap plastic ammo can for my dual compressor and just have it DC into anything portable. There still aren’t any good viable solutions without hacking your truck up. And no chance in hell I’m buying a bracket for 624$ lol just like the ics fab dash mount hell nah!

Sure - I'll build you one. For $625

We don't have a 3G to formally play around on, but I might just come up with something. I know that there would be demand for it, especially if we could get under that massive price point. Is that ONLY the bracket and hardware at that price?

I'm properly underwater with projects myself, but I don't see this being too terribly difficult to make. I'll poke around and see what I can find for local talent!

Paying the same price for the bracket as the double air compressor it will hold seems fair - if we live in the USSR!
I'm not sure I would pay $625 even if it came with free installation

Engine bay would definitely be better. The stock ARB harness won't reach, so we'll have to cut it up and add larger gauge wire to route to the battery.

But, beware...altering the harness will void the warranty with ARB. Also, the secondary ground wire isn't large enough to handle the current from larger gauge positive wires. It'll fry the whole thing. Ask me how I know o_O

Yeah, I know. Wishful thinking. I'm just not a fan of a compressor inside the cab with passengers, and especially when airing up with inclement weather.

I might just sell my dual air, and my switch pros and my goodies from the tacoma I took off before I sold it. the dual ARB compressor mount from sdhq under the seat seems like the only reasonable choice but its also 600 dollars for some bent metal in a brake.

Get a portable compressor. Unless you want air lockers then maybe I would suffer the headaches

Based on the website it looks like the kit is all inclusive. It includes switch mount option, air chuck mounts, air chucks, airline, and air fittings. Looks like it has pretty much everything that you would need at that $600 price tag, link. Looks like the mount only is around $300, link.

6 inch lift, 37 inch tires, Badlands Apex 12,000 lb winch, Fab Fours concealed winch mount with 30 inch LED, Prinsu roof rack with RC 40 inch LED and 10 inch RC LED's on sides, Auxbeam 12 switch controller, Heretic ditch lights, RetraxPro XR bed cover, Elevate bed crossbars with additional bar that connects them, Pedal Commander throttle control, overlanding solar array (2) LiTime 230ah batteries, Renogy 40 amp DC to DC charger, LiTime 60 amp MPPT, LiTime 40 amp LiFePO4 AC to DC charger, Renogy 400 watt suitcase panels
For $300.00, I'll fabricate my own! I can justify spending an entire day on coming up with a good looking solution. These companies price themselves right out of sales. I can see spending $300.00 on a compressor, but for a mount?! Insane.

Besides the inside of the fender & behind the seats, is there anywhere else to put the ARB on the 3gen hybrids ?

There's a company out there that developed one to sits between the grill and the radiator. Dont think it's out yet..Ive only seen pictures.

I think companies are waiting for thr arb brushless compressor to come out first or somwthing. Might have a differnt footprint

Brushless is a completely different mounting mechanism.

Not sure mounting it behind the grille is the best.

Mounting it in front of the radiator seems like a bad idea ! I’m curious on longevity effects.
