I have some GTR LED Lighting from Headlight Revolution and maaaaan, they all now blink like they're going out of business soon...they are dimming and blinking which means they're all about to be kaput. I understand cold temperatures are typically not a LED's best friend, but does anyone have something that they've been using that has outperformed their expectations? I'm not a raver so I want to swap these buggers out!

I've found that the cheap ones on Amazon work pretty damn good and doesn't hurt the cash flow.

I mean… OEM LEDs are known to last over 3 years :anonymous:

But in all seriousness I would say probably the Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0 would be my vote if you wanted something to last a bit.

    Oh, interior?

Diode Dynamics HP3, HP5, etc should stand the test of time. VLEDS if you want to spend the money, but ~$80 for 8 interior bulbs seems a little steep... even for me who loves his VLEDS stuff!

Thank you @memario1214 for getting me some DD lighting! Now that we're both entering winter months, she's sure dark in the mornings and evening now! Thanks again!

My VLED lights have lasted 5 yrs and still going. I would highly recommend them but they are a little $$

Interior, my cheapo Amazon kept konking out or loosing connection. It gets to be -30 here for months on end.

I swapped them all over the LASFIT and haven't had any issues since. They are also on Amazon. Brighter and better construction than the dirt cheap ones.

I routinely hit the same temps in winter for most of the winter...with occasional 'shorts-wearing-weather" above zero temps...I have an order in with Colton and if I need, I will check out the LASFIT or VLEDs. Thank you all for the help!

This is incorrect. LEDs usually last a very long time and thrive in cold temperatures. It's usually something in the driver circuit that is faulty. Additionally, LEDs don't technically flicker. They're either on or off meaning they're either getting sufficient voltage/ current or they aren't. Again, this would be attributed to other faulty components in the circuit (most likely capacitors).

I understand your argument but poor soldering breaks down very fast with heat cycles in the just the ambient temperatures where I live. 100% QA/QC of lesser manufacturing. I park in the garage that is 40F and drive and leave truck outside -40F and "rinse and repeat" each day...gravel roads, snow berms, washboard roads, etc...even windshields with flaws experience this...

    Headlights or interior bulbs?

Edited: just finished the thread. My vote is for VLEDS - mine have been great.
