Hello, anyone living in the Atlanta area? I’d like to replace my fuel pump and I’d like to know who’s had a good experience with a mechanic please? Anywhere between acworth, kennesaw, Marietta, Woodstock, Atlanta works for me.

Honestly? If you want former Toyota technicians that got tired of the dealership bullshit, go to Lextechs. There are a couple of locations around town. Toyotechs is another one that's pretty well noted.

I will warn you, Lextechs pricing will be higher than your average shop, but the service and output is worth it. They do solid, reputable work for folks who can't or don't want to work on their Toyota, and they use OEM/Denso.

Fuel pump is 100% a part you'll want to go with OEM, which is why I wouldn't go to just any mechanic to do the work. A new Denso part will last as long as OEM, as long as you don't buy off scAmazon or fleaBay and end up with a knockoff. General rule of thumb: If the job takes more than 60-90 minutes to do and/or requires you to replace other parts in the process, go with OEM. Aftermarket parts from the LAPS are only engineered to last 2-4 years. Go OEM.

Feel like @Shifty’ summed it up. I have a shop that I really like close to Newnan if you’re looking.
