I'm a happy '23 Sequoia TRD Pro owner.
I'm worried about someone stealing it. I wonder if anyone has installed an Auto Kill switch?
I saw THIS VIDEO today and thought it looked pretty awesome.

The video claims it is an IGLA system. I've never heard of them.

I keep hearing more and more about theft of new cars. Specifically using an antenna amplification device to mimic the key fob. I do keep my fob in a faraday box (to block the signal) when I'm not using it.

    I'm worried about:
    - Someone stealing my new TRD out of my driveway.
    - The always on garage home link button on my rearview mirror. Just break the glass, push the button and you're in my house.
    - If I install an anti-theft / kill switch, will it void my warranty, mess with my electronics, etc.

Anyone hand any experience with these ideas?
Any installers want to chime in?
Thoughts / recommendations would be appreciated.
    TIA

You can build a relayed kill switch to cut the fuel injectors or ign1 (not sure of what all is in the under dash fuse box) That will allow the rest of the truck to keep power for lights, alarm, radio, while making it more time consuming to steal. Some basic wiring skills can get it done with a little bit of "precise" soldering to add wires to a fuse.
Completely removable while also able to hide everything under the dash.

Need an add a fuse, inline fuse holder, couple extra fuses, wire, weatherproof relay, a few butt connectors, terminal ring, heat shrink, on/off switch of your choice (can be toggle, universal push or oe style aftermarket that fits one of your blanks), and terminal connectors for switch.
Find location for switch and relay. Run one side of switch to a GOOD clean ground location, other side to the ground on the relay. Run power for the relay control either from the battery direct with an inline fuse or from an add a fuse plugged into a high amp circuit in the fuse box that doesn't get used often. Take a spare fuse and blow it. Cut enough plastic off the fuse to solder a wire onto each side. Run the wires off the blown fuse to the load sides of the the relay with an inline fuse of correct size for the circuit on the wire that has power. Plug the tap fuse into the desired location that will keep the truck from starting. Do not forget to use glue lined heat shrink on ALL connections.
When the switch is on, truck will function as normal. When the switch is off, truck won't start. No factory wiring is cut or tapped in a destructive manner and entire setup can be removed without evidence left behind.
Use a waterproof relay to ensure it won't get corrosion or dust in it that could cause a short or unwanted open circuit.

Unbelievable car manufacturers still make cars with these always on.
