I have a 2023 tundra platinum with air ride/ avs and it rides rough! Bottoms out on the smallest bumps even at low speed. I’ve been reading in forms that people have been adjusting the rear height for a smoother ride. I took mine to the dealer to ask if they can do it under warranty, but after a few days of holding the car, they said they contacted Toyota and Toyota told them that it’s up to spec, even though the technician even admitted himself it rides, very rigid and rough and as of now there is nothing they can do about it since it’s a 2023. Buttt for the 2022 platinums with air ride they have been adjusting them.. I guess too many ppl were complaining. Anyway I just got the Westcott designs leveling kit for front and rear in the Mail, also planning to get 22 inch rims (since that’s what capstone has) with 34 inch tires to make it more plush. Wondering if anyone has got the Westcott with avs and if that helped or getting bigger wheels helped?

Also I noticed that the leather isn’t immaculate like the last generation. Seems to not have enough stuffing, anyone else notice that on their platinums ?

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Sorry to hear about those issues. If that dealership won't help you out, try another dealership. Different dealerships go to different lengths to make Toyota customers happy.

So after getting bigger wheels it did not bottom out so much but still did more than it should. Right after I got a the Westcott designs leveling kit on and it was a huge difference. I got the one with front and back lift, it also came with new levers for the rear to adjust the airbag height which it raised it over a inch. No more bottoming out on very little bump rides so smooth and comfortable. Hopefully for the 2023 they will update the specifications and lift the rear stock. I shouldn’t have had to add a level kit for it not to be abnormally bumpy for a $70+ k vehicle. But now I can’t complain looks and better with the level kit anyway.
