Could not find a thread for 2nd Gen on this product. Good thread in the 2.5 Gen forum.

I found these AVS in-channel vent visors on the rack in Advance Auto for my 13 DC.
They rang up in store at $75 even though the sign said $65.
I went online and bought them for $65 plus a 15% off.
    Made in USA too.

Edit: I just went to the AVS website. They are $53.54. With Free Shipping.
    Oh well.

I kept looking at Weathertech but they were $100 and never went on sale.
I looked at Westin but the Photos looked so different. Some were low profile others were really bowed far from the window.

I like the way these mount on the inside of the window trim. I also like the low profile stance.

I had a pair of AVS visors for a while, they were sharp and scratched new in packaging Ran them till my drivers rear melted in the sun and bowed in till it rubbed the window. Ended up switching to weather techs couldn't be more happy.

hope you don't run into the same issues with your AVS visors.

So far I am not having any issue with mine.
I left windows up for 72 hours so they would adhere.
My windows are working fine with them in the channel.
My visors were in perfect condition and were not sharp out of the packaging.
So far no issues with the sun warping them.

I did see another post after I put mine in that had a good idea. This guy scuffed the inside and painted the inside black. That way they are like sun visors and block the sunlight. I checked and where they are at I do not need to see through for driving safety. Wish I had painted the inside of mine before I put them up.

I have 3 sets of the Weathertechs on 3 different cars. They rattle too much, and sometimes cause the window "auto up" function to reverse because they are too tight in the track, even though I leave the windows fully up to try to get them to conform better. The front passenger on my 4Runner kept falling off not long after I bought them and they did send me a new front set without any hassle, so I am impressed with their support. With all that being said, I've had AVS on my Tundra for 2 years and couldn't be happier. I've had none of the problems that I've had with the Weathertechs. I'm surprised that NueveTundra had a melting problem. Mine have survived through two southern Arizona summers (100+ degree days) with absolutely no ill effects.

Been using AVS's since the early 70's with zero issues. Lots of knock offs out there now but can't beat the original.
