I know I’m not the only one that has dogs and has struggled with travel options. Having a hunting dog, I’ve looked for an option to place a kennel to travel in my cab. I found some ideas within threads on this site and built my own little pad.

This looks really sharp! I miss mine in the Ram, but I decided to go with the Ruffland back seat rider and it sits on hump nicely. One day I will bust out the parts and build my Ram clone, I just need to get my shop first lol.

I also have a Ruffland for my pup and figured this would work in the back a bit better than in the floor. So far it fits perfect and will be great for hunting season when it gets cold up north.

Folded the seats up for one trip, then one of my dogs decided she wanted to lay on top of the seats. Now the seats are in storage.

Very, Very nice work. People really can't appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into a project like this until they attempt it themselves. Got a 1800 mile on and off road jaunt coming up next season, Nez Perce Trail through 5 Western states with two rather large Hounds. Running out of build time so went with the GOOSE system this time around. Amazing amount of storage underneath.

Built a similar platform, but it goes 1" above the seats.

sorry for the late reply, I’ve been busy. See the attached I wrote down for you. the supports were a 2x4 cut to fit for my truck and the mats, yours may be different. As for the board thickness you can decide what you want to use for preference.

the 60 side was cut to 38 3/4” and the 40 was cut to 21”

The 40 side support overhangs a bit so the 60 portion can rest on it. I also cuts small squares and glued underneath to rest and prevent any sag.

    any questions let me know.

Is there any reason you didn't make this one piece or was it just to make it easier to install?

How easy/hard is it to remove those? how are they bolted down? do you have to have the back plate installed?
