Haven't been posting because of school and work but I had an awesome idea. So the truck that really got me into my hobby is the Marty Mcfly toyota, to this day my explanation for my love of gloss black trucks is that pickup.

My 2012 Tundra has been built to my liking nothing too crazy but just some things here an there, did it all on my own in terms of installation other than my cooper tires.

Anyways I had an inspiration yesterday to do an hybrid back to the future build with my truck, this would mean a bed light bar, KC vintage halogen lights functioning of course. Due to my brush guard I would opt for smaller KC hood mounted lights. I know the OG has less chrome and more black but as I said it's more of a hybrid I like polishing chrome and I think it would blend with my truck better. Smittybilt bed cover would work with the bed lightbar I have in mind.

I'm also considering a TOYOTA or TUNDRA vinyl on the rear tailgate like the original truck. Keep in mind i am a broke college kid so I would do this slowly piece by piece and I would post updates on our instagram @yota.parts.distributor. Also forgot to mention the 2015 back to the future license plate that I would bolt onto the front end.

    Current build list:

    Front end:
Rough Country N3 3" lift kit
    JBA upper control arms
    Tuff country discontinued brush guard
Clear headlights from ebay (want to replace eventually)
Cheap ebay hoodlights which have since been removed
    hood bug deflector in black
    Sequoia aftermarket TRD PRO grill

    Rear end:
    TRD offroad shocks
    2.5" shackle lift

    General modifications:
    Came with sidesteps
    custom dual exhaust catback system
    Method Race Wheels 18"
    Cooper discoverer at3s 33" i believe
    Slightly tinted tailights with clearcoat

    Potential mods:
Chrome Lightbar (has to be compatible with a soft folding bed cover)
KC roll bar lights (preferrably 4 daylighter's)
KC hood mounted lights (will make sure they have recognizable covers to match daylighter's)
Maybe some mudflaps with a vintage look, might need to be custom
Front license plate from "2015" back to the future movie

Overall I think it's a cool idea and i will probably do it even if a bunch of people don't like the idea, I love my truck and that style has been in my head since I was a little kid. I am 19 turning 20 on the 28th and I'm living my dream thanks to you guys! Thought some of you would find the idea to be unique feel free to discuss below

When I was still in highschool and hadn't bought my Tundra yet I was deadset on a Tacoma because the 2015 back to the future promotion. Many years later I love my Tundra very much but still want to attempt my own version!

Sounds like a fun idea. If anything it certainly won't look like every other leveled Tundra on 33's.
Post up another pic of your truck. Looks like an image in there but its not showing up, just the Marty McFly version.
Maybe do a photoshop rendering of what your truck could look like so you'll get an idea of where you want to go with it.

This is a picture of my rig before heading to Yotaville 2021. I know how to work photoshop but I don't know of any software i could use. I know what i want in my head more or less I would just have to chop up some pictures to make a side shot and front shot. Any recommendations?

Rock Warrior wheels, roll bar and the KC Daylighters with covers and you're pretty much there.

I thought about rock warrior wheels but they wouldn't stick out enough on my rig, that's why I'm running methods, I would figure something out later on maybe even sell the methods at that point but thats at the bottom of the list for me. Daylighters and rollbar will probably come first.

Update on the build. Looking for sponsors for a front bumper update with the YouTube. As of right now it stays like this.
