Back up bulbs 921 and 7440 the same

    3” lift, black step bars, aftermarket wheels, LT305/55R20 was this way when I brought it.
    Are 921 and 7440 the same?

    I am getting mixed information. I would like to replace my back up LED bulbs so that I can see better with the tint. When I search for these bulbs I get most sites telling me that the direct replacement is a 921 but 7440 will work. I have an '2015 CM ... can someone help me?

    s-l500.jpg I found these on a popular E site..... very bright. Have them in the CHMSL cargo light too..

    I had originally purchased a different set that had the standard base and they ended up eventually blowing the Bkup LP fuse and caused me a bunch of grief. These new ones apparently work for both standard and CK bases, happy with them so far. They are 7440/7443.
