    Hello, I just upgraded my radio in my 2019 SR with a JBL out of a 2020 TRD Pro and my backup camera doesn't work. Any ideas?

    SR doesn't have a lot of wiring a standard Tundra has.
    Intermittent wipers, fog lights, etc..

    Also a JBL and non-JBL wiring is a bit different as well in any Tundra.
    I'm surprised the radio works correctly at all.

    As to the camera issue;
    Does it not come on at all when you put it in reverse?
    Or does it engage on the screen but no picture?

    Welcome to the forum..

    Thank you and thank you for your prompt response. Believe it or not, it plugged right in. I had to add an XM and GPS antenna but everything works great. When I shifted into reverse, the radio never changed.

    Check the build link in my signature.
    Hit the wiring diagram thread in my signature. You’ll need to pull down the EWD for 2018-2021 and compare all of the pinouts for each connector that were in your stock radio and the new one. There’s a lot that is the same, but some critical wires did change (including I think the reverse wire signal).

    The JBL head unit sends line out to the JBL amp which then drives the speakers, so I’m betting you may not be getting much for sound/volume control out of the new one.

    I think what you'll want to look for in the wiring diagrams is the connection of the Park/Neutral Position Switch to the receiver.
    That is what turns on the rev lights..

    May not help you, but;
    I found a lead into the receiver from the Park/Neutral Position Switch in my 2015 diagram, but I have no idea which plug or wire it is.
    Seems to be yellow, but as @RainMan_PNW stated, there were quite a few changes from the 2015 to the 2018 and ^.
    It may be a place to start in your wiring search..

    You say you have a 2019. Do you know what your build date was (should be on the sticker in the door jamb I believe). I ask because the physical connector bodies for the "after August 2019 production" (Model Year 2020/2021) and the "before August 2019 production" (Model Year 2018/2019) are grossly different - they wouldn't just plug right in.

    You also list your truck as "Platinum" in your profile...do you have an amp under the passenger seat and a subwoofer in the back?

    Attached are the specific EWDs for the 2018/2019 base audio and the 2020/2021 JBL. I also am attaching the 2018/2019 JBL Audio and the 2020/2021 Base Audio, because for the new radio to plug directly into your existing wiring harness, either your truck was built using 2020 parts (wiring harness and radio), or the radio you bought is from a truck that was built using 2019 parts.

    Either way, you're going to need to compare carefully the pin-outs and connector shapes to compare function and solve your reverse wire issue. I am also wondering if you have sound coming out of your Right Rear speakers (the JBL head unit does not show an output for RR directly, but instead that is output by the amp)

    RainMan_PNW and 1lowlife, thank you so much for your prompt, in-depth help. It may be easier to just go back to using my mirrors. Easier but not what I intend to do. When I shift into reverse, if I wait long enough, the screen shows "no signal received". I was hoping it was a wireless vs a wired camera but that would be too easy. I'll have to get someone to help me do the things you suggested. When I signed up for this account, all I had (have) was a Platinum Tundra. Since then, I have also purchased a 2019 Tundra SR so I can take my dogs places (we do dog rescue). I really, really appreciate the time you both took to help me out with this.
