Brother in-law bought a new Tundra and I fell in love with the big screen...so I put one in my 2017 5.7 Crewmax!

Ordered it online from Phoenix Automotive. Not too pricey for a big screen. I've seen them at $1000+, but this was only about $600. Shipping took FOREVER due to part shortage though. Almost canceled my order but I'm definitely glad I didn't! Check out the pics!

Uses Google Maps for Nav, has 3 USB ports, has wireless Apple CarPlay but only wired Android Auto, plays videos from YouTube, backup camera works great, able to easily switch from the on board mic on stereo to the OEM mic on truck via settings, can customize home screen, more powerful built in amp than factory stereo (non-JBL), all AC buttons become digital (on screen) and work well, updates from Phoenix Auto via USB too!

And best part...WAS COMPLETELY PLUG AND PLAY!!! They send you all the wiring harnesses necessary for installation!

Check out pics and lmk if you have any questions.

Bought a refurbished one and had nothing but issues with it. I'll never play with one of these again.

Yeah I use to work at Best buy back in the day. I learned then to stay away from open-item and refurbished products if any electronics are involved. They don't even test them right. Lol

Not saying the stereo is perfect, but so much better that stock. It has it quirks but I've been working with it and figured out most of them. Now I'm ready happy with it. Especially with the price for a screen this size.

Any item that replaces knobs and dials with a digital screen interface for HVAC controls is a major no-go for me. I had that in a Civic that I recently got rid of. Hated it with a passion.

Yeah I hear ya. Has taken me some time to get use to it. I do like that the buttons on the sides of the screen can be programmed for any function. Apparently the buttons on the steering wheel can as well. Planning on programming the mode buttons (left and right) on the steering wheel to increase and decrease the fan speed of the HVAC. Figured that might suffice.
