    Hi everyone,

I got a Bakflip cover for my 8ft bed Tundra and have some issues with it and have contacted bakflip and they are trying to figure out a resolution. I figured I'd ask all someone on here if they could get some measurements for me to compare them to mine. My arms that are mounted on the side rails are a little short when I fold the cover up against the cab. I'll post the measurements of mine and if someone can take a measurement of their to compare I'd greatly appreciate it!!! I figured the crew max and and 6.5' bed trucks should be the exact same cover and stuff minus the length!

So from the bottom of the front fold to the lower part of the plastic mount its about 6-3/8" and the front of the rail to the center of the arm brace is 17.75".

    Thanks!!!

Anyone have any pictures of the prop rods holding up their covers? Updated pictures for a comparison.

something is definitely wrong there. I have to shove my prop rods into the support when its at the highest setting. Ill try to measure the prop rod when I get out of work unless someone else chimes in. the support looks like its at the right height.

Thanks man, If you could post some pictures of yours and take a few measurements that would be greatly appreciated!!!! Just seem like the prop rods are too low on the cover and it cant support it while the cover is up and your driving.....

So my cover was already on when I bought my truck so I don’t have any knowledge on how it was installed. However it looks the prop rod is installed too far away and your clear tracks need to be lowered….. not sure if lowering the tracks will allow the rod to be placed closer?

Hmm well if you look at my first pictures I took 2 measurements where the prop rod sits from the front of the rail and where the plastic track is located from the bottom of the cover. Could you verify that for me, I'd appreciate it. Is that a G2 as well?
