    Let's see 'em!

I use firearms mostly as tools, but I do appreciate a finely crafted work of art and have a few guns almost too pretty to take into the woods.

Makes me feel sad. I don’t really own any classically pretty firearms. This is about as close as I’ve got:

    IMG_0270.jpg

Freedom Arms M83 Premier Grade in .454 Casull. It’s had an action job, overtravel stop, and auxiliary .45 ACP cylinder fitted all by Freedom Arms.

I have 6 different front sights of two different heights. The stock serrated ramps, which I despise, two factory fiber optic sights (pretty good), and two under cut partridge style sights by Ken O’Neill that are excellent.

I have one of them as well I bought new in 2011 although I had a .45 Colt cylinder fitted to mine. I wish I had known about the action job at the time, I would have had that done to mine as well. Excellent trigger as stock though, much better than my other big single actions (all Rugers).

I do consider my Model 83 Premier to be the "Rolex" of my single actions, the rest are more like a "Timex". All good and plenty fun and accurate to shoot though.

Very nice! I've never owned a Dan Wesson, but hear great things about them.

Ohh, I love my SA cheapo 22LR/22WMR revolver. I have plenty of modern firearms, but it's just, a fun gun to go relax and shoot for a while at the range. It's certainly nothing nice or expensive, but if you just like to shoot, there it is. No speed loader necessary!
