I've searched through a number of threads and can't quite find an answer. Is there a bed mat available for the 2022-2024 Tundra 5'7" bed that can be installed with the drop in bed liner?

I see the Bed Rug Drop in that has to be cut to fit, but wondering if there's one that fits without cutting? I'm tired of stuff sliding around everywhere.

So you have a factory applied spray in bed liner over the plastic bed and everything is sliding around? Odd I thought the spray in liner would help keep things from sliding around. Just to double check...you are aware the bed is made out of plastic and is not a drop in liner right? There are multiple bed mats out there and if I had a 5'7' bed instead of 6.5' I would have gone rough country. I think rough country has the best bang for the money. I went with the OEM bed liner because that was about the only option in 6.5'.

I don't have the spray in liner. It's the plastic bed insert. Isn't that what this is or am I not calling it by it's right name?

So this one says only fits with trucks with no drop in liner or spray in liner. So my guess is that it won't work with the plastic drop in liner above.

It's not really a plastic bed insert. . The whole bed is composite.

The inner bed is a composite material. There is not another bed under it like the older versions. A bed mat like you have pictured is your best bet to keep things from sliding. Just remember, it makes it harder to slide in all directions.

Yep as others stated the bed is made of a composite plastic. There is no insert, the bed is black plastic as in the plastic is what the actual bed is made of. Don't quote me on the year but Toyota Tacoma's have been using plastic beds since about 2006 or 2007 (might be off on the years). GM is also using plastic in their "Higher end" tucks and marketing it as the "CarbonPro" bed, which is fancy talk for plastic. I had a Tacoma with the plastic bed prior to this truck and think the plastic makes a lot more sense in most cases (can't rust and is actually pretty damn durable). Any bed mat specifically designed for the Tundra will fit in this bed and you don't need to worry about any insert because there are not factory inserts. The OEM (typically around $160-175-ish at most dealers) mat I think is the best made and best looking, but as I said before the Rough country mat for $99.00 is hard to beat. https://www.roughcountry.com/product/toyota-bed-mat-rcm689

@Wood-Dro Oh yeah and once you have a rubber mat in there nothing slides around. Makes loading that first sheet of drywall kind of tricky because it won't slide. You're other option would be to have a spray in bed liner applied like LineX or Rhino.

Yeah, won't be putting drywall back there. I have people for that. :bananadance:

So they will spray LineX over the plastic?

Yeah an experienced installer shouldn't have any problems applying LineX to plastic.

I have the factory spray in bed liner over the composite bed. Texture provides some traction, but gear still slides around on the spray in, and the spray in is rough, so that first sheet of Sheetrock would be pretty Goobered. Slid my snowboard in the other day and the bed liner texture took all the wax. Going to put a rubber mat in now. Where is that eye roll emoji?

Rubber Bed Mat is the way to go! Have had them on my last two Toyos and I love the grip on any load and that any water that leaks in around my tonneau covers goes underneath the load and keeps it dry. OEM ones last forever and fit perfectly.

I have the spray in liner and it still let things slide around a lot. I bought an OEM one for my 6.5' bed.

Are the OEM bed mats for 6.5' bed available now?
Last time I checked (late Oct) they were under a 'stop sale' at the dealership.

I lucked out and the dealer had one that was returned because it had brown specs in it....mainly because it's made from recycled rubber and all of them have that. Sold it to me for $100.00 and it was basically brandy new. This was after I had a order in for about 10 weeks for one and I just so happened to check when I was there for a service appointment. Canceled my order at that point. As far as I know they are still on back order which sucks.

Stall mats are cheap and durable. Just make sure you have a good straight-edge and several new blades ready if you cut it to fit.

When I had my Nissan Titan, I bought the stall mat from Tractor Supply. I used my dremel ultrasaw and clamped a straight edge - followed the straight edge to cut and it turned out great. They are thick, heavy and durable. And cost less than even the aftermarket options

Been following up with my local dealer for updates for the OEM bed mat who now indicates late January to early February before they'll be available again. Explained it's a supplier issue. I am about to write this one off and look into a 3rd party one. However, each time I look they're like twice the cost for decent ones and I just don't trust the ones on Amazon. I am digging the Black Armor one but can't seem to source it anywhere as it too is out of stock. Perhaps the horse stall mat will have to do from my local TSC.

If anyone has any alternatives for a good quality mat, I welcome any recommendations or suggestions or if anyone has a source for the short bed OEM one, or even looking to part ways with theirs, please share.

I got mine from realtruck.com. don't remember the brand but it wasn't oem and it works just fine .

Nevermind. Just went and looked and I think it was the gator brand and it's out of stock.
