For those of you who have changed or replaced your bed side exterior panel I have a question. What’s your opinion, cheap out and get a used bed side panel given the seller will have to remove the side panel from a parts rig. Or spend the money and buy a new panel from Toyota? A new panel from Toyota is costing me about $950 shipped and the used parts is quoting around $300-$400 local.
Pics of my rig for reference.

I know it doesn’t look bad, and I plan to pull the dents this weekend, but I want your guys opinion if I go this route.

If local, go look at the parts to save more than half. If you aren't happy with the condition, go new.

Definitely go look at it, it's a 16 year old part it might have rust starting. Like Robert said if it looks good then you'll be saving more than half.
