Has it always done it or recently started with no other recent changes?

I had a Chevy truck with aftermarket stereo that did beeping wouldn't stop if you started it with door open or certain other orders of events. Some seatbelt module adapter because oem routed through stereo on that GM model.

When the truck is on, do you still here it if you power the stereo off? Can you tell which speaker the sound is coming from, or if it is all of them?

I'm wondering if it is the radio itself. The dash speakers get their signal directly from the head unit. They aren't tied into the factory amp like the door speakers. Does the music still come through all of the speakers?

Yes, music isn’t affected at all. It does it when anything starts playing through the unit. Doesn’t matter if it’s Bluetooth, XM, etc… the beeping sound doesn’t get higher when you turn the volume up nor does it go away when turn the volume all the way down. Now, here’s the brain buster…..you press the power button on the stereo (which brings you to the audio source selection screen) the dang beeping stops; But select say XM, and after selecting, it takes you to the XM screen (where you see the channel and song and artist, etc…) and immediately starts doing the 3 beep intervals.
It’s quite annoying. Mine literally just started doing it 3 weeks ago. And it’s only during certain times. So I guess once radio waves or a signal is connected to the receiver, it’s possibly picking up interference? IDK, I’m stumped on it. Because hitting the power button makes it stop, as that takes you back to source selection screen. Then it starts back once the source is chosen. I would love for this to get fingered out lol
