Due to my size I chose the bench seat option for my 2019 double cab. With the center seat folded up I fit quite comfortably (room for my right leg since there's no center console for it to hit, and with the center seat folded all the way up and back no hitting my shoulders). Really this was the only choice for me when it comes the Tundra as an option.

But I've just given up easy access to the cup holders and basically somewhere to throw stuff temporarily. I'm thinking some sort of tray or plastic organizer that securely attaches to the trans hump somehow is a good solution.

So... anyone else run into this and if so, what suggestions might you have? Thanks in advance!

It's not the most elegant, but I had one of these screwed to the floor in my first bench seat pickup:

Here's how I ended up going

"Classic Consoles Shorty Hod Rod Floor Console, Madrid Black": https://www.cupholdersplus.com/shorty-hot-rod-floor-console.html

Those wings are screwed in. Three each. I'm going to try without them (they are designed to be bent and wrap around rounded humps, but since ours is flat they wouldn't help much), and instead Velcro it down (rough side stuck to rough side, so both sides are rough. Velco sticks to both the console and floor well. Don't plan to have to remove it, but good to know I can in a pinch.)

I may flip it around so the cup holders are closer to the seat, or may not. Time will tell.

As consoles go, this wasn't cheap (at $80+shipping) but its definitely a quality piece. Looks good too down there. Almost like it belongs especially given the chrome rings match those around the air vents.

If you didn’t order the husky liners for your truck yet. They are the only one that makes floor protection for the trans hump. Weather tech does not.
It’s 80 bucks but you mount the extra cup holder/bin to that floor mat from underneath so it won’t slide around or slide to the passenger side when making left turns.

Good tip, thanks. I'll keep it in mind, but I think the Velco will do ok. If not, the Husky looks like the ticket.
