that would depend on how you use the truck and what your needs are. There are different types and many brands from budget friendly to very high end. Start here and read about the different types- in the stickies.

This forum has pics, review of different lifts and suspensions, so you have some reading to do https://www.tundras.com/forums/suspension.19/

So you see I was just looking for options that are budget friendly but everything seems so expensive

I don't wanna sound rude but read around a bit. Check out the first gen build pages and see what people used.

    Ask yourself a few questions
Are you rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive?
    Why do you want lift?
Are you going to add bigger tires?
    Are you going off road?
Do you tow or carry heavy loads?
Is the rest of your truck in good shape? (Lifting and adding big tires will wear out any suspension that is aged)
What is your budget? How flexible is that? How long can you wait and save?

Look over this thread while you are at it
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/how-big-is-yours-measure-up.46186/

Then it will become easier to make the right choice.

Your title is asking for the best 3 inch lift. The best is going to cost money.
There are plenty of options, but if you are going to try and skip out on cheap parts, you will pay for it later. I think you should start by pricing the different options and commit to doing it right. As stated above, a lift will wear other items on your truck. Will you be able to afford to fix it if something comes up after you buy/install a lift? Look at some of the threads referenced above, there's some good info there. And of course keep us posted and post a pic or two.

    Yup...quality costs.

That's why your thread asking for "THE BEST" is not going to help you. You're top $ will be different than my top $.

Search, read, research, narrow down your choices and then read some more before pulling the trigger.

Budget is usually the #1 factor for people and you still haven't disclosed it.

Best budget friendly is probably Bilstein 5100s. Retain your stock springs, retain your upper arms. Only lift to 2" up front and leave the rear alone. You can run a 265/75/16 tire with an all terrain tread and live happily ever after.
