I get the 3M carbon fiber vinyl off Amazon. It’s like $22 for a 12”x72” roll. Easy to work with and holds up great! I did my exterior mirror covers.

@1UPPER has some really nice carbon fiber trim in his truck. I think he did it himself too. Looks killer and he always uses top notch materials. Maybe he will chime in here

I took my whole dash apart when I did my carbon interior. The hardest part when wrapping the carbon is doing the curves on the outside edges of the center dash. It was a lot of work but well worth getting to enjoy the end results everyday. The carbon wrap I used was from vivid vinyl. The real carbon trim around the AC vents was from another company. 66EE36F5-1520-4C73-97E6-3D600067E319.jpg

How many pieces are to wrapping? You will have a lot of waste if your trying to keep the pattern like I did. Since you run the driver side at a different angle than the other. I ordered a large roll and I couldn’t find my receipt showing how much I ordered.

Did you get two types of CF? I got one design with lines going upper left but I can’t flip it so it goes upper right so it’s opposite for both sides. My OCD won’t allow one direction o_O

I factored in using a wide roll with the extra linear footage. So I could turn the carbon weave 90 degrees to give me the pattern facing towards the driver and the pattern facing the passenger. More waste but I think it looks cleaner when it’s all done.

I disconnected the battery first before remove the airbag. Then I removed the steering wheel trims.

This side area is the hardest place to make the vinyl work. I had to create relief cuts to make the vinyl work around the curved radius. I started at the bottom and worked towards the top.
