    ^ This by far.
Not sure why I waited so long to do it..

Mine was literally plug and play because I told iHacker I wanted to retain my amber DRLs during the day, but I wanted the LED strips on dim when the parking/headlights were on.

Very happy with the way this turned out..

Old, too much chrome and crappy halogen headlight projection...

    y40tprnq_0ec56958cd88678a6dc2c2d55d3c525800c9432b.jpg

    New...
The low beams are great, the high beams are phenomenal..

Daytime, amber DLRs like I wanted.
Replaced the halogen turn signals with Alla Lighting LED bulbs

Parking lights, LED strip on dim, like I wanted.

Headlights, LED strip on dim, like I wanted.

@iHacker was very helpful answering all my questions.
Since @Roman from TOCS is down, I ordered my TRD Pro LED headlights from Sparks..

Only issue I have now is I must ditch the chrome bumper ends for color matched...:eek2::D

I like the XB Morimotos. They cost a bit though. Ones for my 07 were $900.00. These are $1150.00o_O

    Same here.
The ONLY thing I like about the Morimoto XB is the amber LED strip.
Everything else looks too space age..

    Welcome to the forum..

    I don't remember.
I PMed @iHacker what I wanted and he sent me the appropriate harness.
Sent me an invoice for what I needed, paid him, and shipped it to me.
Told him I wanted to keep the amber DRLs during the day and the dim LED strips when the light were on.
Made it clear I didn't ever want the bright LED strip on.
Literally plug and play, no other wiring..
Shoot him a PM and he will hook you up.
He is a pleasure to deal with...

Just did the Morimotos in my 2010. They are awesome. Love the way they look, and they put out a lot of light.

*sigh* bummed but glad someone picked up the Morimotos before I did today. :( I would definitely say the Morimoto though. I saw one in a video and the light output on Morimoto is about 15% brighter than OEM. Worth $1350? Maybe. . .:anonymous:

Will the Morimotos work on tundras that didn’t come with oem leds? Would I need to buy any additional adapters or anything?

My 2020 has the old halogen lights except for the drls and didn’t know if these would cause the hyper flashing as well

I believe if you decide to go with Morimotos headlights then it should come with a harness. But if you go with OEM LED headlights then you need a harness from ihacker. Both will not hyper flashes. Hopefully that makes sense.

The Morimotos will come with a harness, and are completely plug and play with no hyperflash, IF they are the only lighting adjustment. If you install them in conjunction with LED tails, you will get hyperflash at all four corners until you install resistors on the rears. This is what I had to do, but the Morimoto resistors are cheap, and hooking them up was simple.

If your truck came equipped with halogen headlights, the connectors on the OEM harness do not physically fit to the newer OEM LED headlights.

@iHacker supplies an adapter harness that allows the original truck harness to connect the newer LED headlights electrically. Physically, the newer LED headlights fit all Gen3s, and are a vast improvement over the old halogens for focused bright light downrange. Plus, they give the old girl a more modern appearance in the daytime.

You can choose how you want the DRLs to operate (or not), and @iHacker can provide a harness that makes it happen. @iHacker provides high-quality harnesses equal to or better than OEM.

Great! This level of detail sums it up nicely. I'll keep this in mind since I have a friend that might buy my headlights if I ever upgrade from my OEM LED lights

I went OEM 18+ LED and they're absurdly bright. 15% isnt much. Just get some Baja Designs ditch lights or fogs and light output won't be a problem anymore :)

I did notice my DRL dim after having my lights on. I might have to consider just doing this small mod. With OEM the output is about 910 lux. If I had done Morimoto XB, the out put on those are 1160 along with having sequential turn signal which is a plus for me. Although I do want ditch ditch lights! I don't believe I can just drive with those on public roads or highways without blinding someone lol

I can totally understand that. I installed a harness that kept my DRL at max brightness even during the day. Looks way cooler imo. The sequential turn signals do look really good. You can run the SAE fogs, i would suggest the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro. They're street legal and very bright. I run the Baja Designs XL ditch lights and they're ungodly bright, i use them every night driving home from work. But i drive on 2 lane country roads and rarely see traffic.

Nice! Wasn't hard for installing the harness right? I might wanna get my hands on one. I guess if I'm not getting a Morimoto or alpha rex nova headlights anytime soon I'll get these

I got the new lights and bought a dimmable iHacker harness for non-led oem drls.

A few of you mentioned not hooking up a portion of the harness to get the result you wanted. Which harness did you start with and which part did you not hook up?

I trust iHacker that the positaps are ok, but if there is a suitable option to not use them I may take that. If not, then I will install the full harness as instructed.

+1 to iHacker's fast service and product quality.

I could probably reach out to him directly, but I don't want to bother an already busy man.
